Abstract

'The seduction of madness' was a practice-as-research project devised with students from the diaries of John Percival, who was incarcerated in a lunatic asylum in the 1830s. It was designed to create a theatrical language expressing his simultaneous inhabitation of concrete and visionary worlds.
