Abstract

An exhibition at Fashion Museum, Bath exploring the connection between fashion and sport staged to coincide with the year of the London Olympics. The exhibition featured historical examples of sportswear from the museums's collection along with Team GB 2012 uniform designed by Stella McCartney, gifted by the designer. Other featured objects included clothing inspired by sportswear created by international fashion designers including Aitor Throup (an RCA graduate who also designed official England football kit), Victoria Beckham, Hermes, Geoffrey Beene and Bodymap.
