Abstract

Solo exhibition. “Marloes ten Bhömer. The Act of Walking” addresses the academic thinking and work of one of the most promising researchers and footwear designers of her generation. Marking Marloes ten Bhömer’s debut in Portugal, this exhibition brings together over a hundred pieces, grouped into five exhibition clusters, making a cross-sectional but not exhaustive exploration of the main conceptual and physical pieces that continue to be absolutely remarkable in the designer’s career.
