Abstract
A briefing paper that examines the intersection between the Covid-19 pandemic and US electoral processes during the 2020 electoral cycle. Reflecting the US electoral cycle, the content and analysis is split into three sections: primaries; conventions and debates; and the general election. The briefing paper closes with four policy areas in need of reflection: election administration; the place of mail-In voting; the continued importance of lawsuits; and access to voting.
