McKitterick was the designer and curator of the exhibition and charity auction of 68 designer Billy dolls and accompanying drawings created by international fashion designers including Versace, Calvin Klein, Christian Lacroix, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Moschino, Paul Smith, Tommy Hilfiger, Agnes B, Alexander McQueen, Diesel and Levi Kenzo. McKitterick orginated the concept and was the creative director of the project to completion.
Collaborators: Totem International Inc., LIFEbeat - Music Industry Fights Aids, Tommy Hilfiger USA Inc., Christies Auction House, Jones Soda Inc., and Fine Tune Records. Sources of Funding/sponsorship included: Totem International Inc. - financial contribution of $18,000 and promotional expenses/labour in kind; Tommy Hilfiger USA - decoration of museum, production of accompanying video, advertising, photography; The Advocate - advertising; Boutique Y3K - developmental expenses for online auction and event presentation; Christies Auction House - organisation and staffing of auction.
