Abstract
Contribution to series of essays about British Comics hosted on Henry Jenkins' 'Confessions of an Aca-fan' blog, curated by Dr William Proctor and Dr Julia Round. This article explores the significance the Birmingham Arts Lab, its Arts Lab Press and Ar:Zak comics imprint to UK underground and alternative comics scene by analysing the perigraphic features of issue 4 of Ar:Zak's flagship anthology Streetcomix.
