Abstract
Previous history games for the computer relied on the interaction between the individual and the computer, but the games at Sweyne School in Essex were designed to involve a whole class of mixed ability students, so had to use somewhat different techniques. They were not designed solely for older and/or abler students, so could not depend on an advanced knowledge of computers.
