Abstract

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been developed by improvement in hardware design and using advanced technology in chip production in last decade. Recently, more researchers have focus on WSNs and localization in wireless sensors. Global Positioning System (GPS) could assist mobile node to find its location but GPS module makes a tiny wireless sensor more expensive and more battery consumer. Some techniques could help wireless sensors to find its location without using any hardware device that are called range free techniques. Range free techniques use connectivity information and other information about neighbors to estimate its location. In this paper we consider localization in wireless sensor networks and methods and algorithm to find the location of each sensor without adding any positioning modules.
