Abstract
HHARP is a collection of resources relating to the early years of three hospitals for sick children: The Hospital for Sick Children at Great Ormond Street, England’s first in-patient children’s hospital, the Evelina Hospital, the Alexander Hospital for Children with Hip Disease and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Glasgow. It includes databases of patient admission records – covering the period 1852 to 1914; a collection of patient case notes; articles on the early history of the Hospitals; pen-portraits of some of the Hospitals’ personalities; a gallery of images; and a growing section of academic resources. This database has been compiled by staff from the Kingston University Centre for Local History Studies.
