Abstract

Data journalism project 2013-14 into Local Government Pension Funds (LGPFs). Considering the conflict of interest local councils may have if they are the planning authority of companies they have a 'vested interest' in through local government pension funds. An investigation into how the data journalism project on this matter was carried out from idea through to delivery in several national newspapers incl. the Independent on Sunday.
