Abstract
This keynote talk was given at the 13th International Convention on Students' Quality Circles, in Kathmandu, November 2010. Taking account of recent developments at Kingston University, where new Students' Quality Circles have been launched, it addresses issues of empowerment, and a partnership approach to learning.
