Abstract

This article explores the intersection between the British National Party (BNP) and their claims to hold Christian beliefs. The discussion notes the various strategies employed by the BNP to 'Christianize' party ideology and propaganda for electoral purposes. It also briefly discusses how mainstream Christians in Britain have tried to galvanize local communities to resist extreme rightwing appropriation of religious themes.
