| Additional Information: | Print and Jersey sportswear collection - mens and womenswear. A series of commissions for Body Rap, a British-based fashion company specialising in the Japanese market. Scale of production: mass production - pieces sold in excess of 100,000; collection consists of 40 pieces and 80 textile prints. Market distribution: independent retail outlets and department stores in Japan. McKitterick's role involved: concept design through to development and realisation of first samples in-house at Body Rap in London; predicting and defining key lifestyle/ fashion trends for the season; predicting trends in printed imagery; developing and designing directional printed imagery garment silhouettes and colour palettes; and close liaison with studio design team and facutory based production team to develop directional printed images. |
