Additional Information:Chair made from a variety of manufactured recycled materials. The chair's material is predominantly recycled HDPE 5mm multi-coloured sheet. The chair seat is covered in fleece manufactured from recycled PET drinks bottles. The chair was developed for the 'Perfect Chair for Barbie International Competition', organised by the American Vitra Design Museum and "Metropolis" magazine (USA). An accompanying Exhibition of finalists toured the USA and Europe. Venues included the Vitra Design Museums in New York and Weil am Rhein, Germany; the International Contemporary Furniture Fair; and the Cologne International Furniture Fair. The Exhibition toured from May 1996 until December 1997.
