Additional Information: Commissioned by Curatosquared for the Design Museum Holon, the Rapidprototypeshoe is made using an additive manufacturing technology in which successive layers of a photopolymer material are UV cured. Using 3D printing the shoe is built in one go but is comprised of two materials organised into different microscopic structures, thereby enabling a range of different material properties in the one object.
