The guide introduces researchers to the main articles, books and newspaper reports published on the subject of 'race' in British politics between 1978 and 1992. A series of short commentaries gives an overview of each topic; the guide then provides bibliographic reference sections on, for example, anti-Semitism, Enoch Powell, the Conservative Party, the New Right, the National Front, the general British extreme right, the Asylum Bill, and the role of the European Community (as it was then called).
