What is Soundpainting? How can a live gestural sign language compose music in real-time? This session will introduce a basic set of gestures in an interactive context. Reflecting on the role of the eprformer and the soundpainter, we shall reflect on the cross-over between improvisation and composition, with regard to large ensembles.
